I made this track earlier today. It’s the first beat I’ve made in a year. I hooked up a turntable on my desktop so I can listen to vinyl while I work away. I’ve been re-listening to a lot of jazz that I forgot I had. This song is the result of some of that listening.

Sometimes when I listen to a record I just want to hear one section over and over with drums. So I decided to do just that. I would say what the sample was but it’s less fun that way. I’ll keep you guys diggin’ in the crates to try and match me.

I just got word of this new remix by Dude Royal feat. Rob Roy (of Entourage fame as posted a couple weeks ago) called “Don’t Go”. I got a chance to see both of these guys perform earlier this summer.
