I’ve been enjoying my Shwood sunglasses for over a year now. Check out this vid of them creating a one off pair of sunglasses from the decks of a skateboard. They shred teh fine streets of downtown LA and there’s an appearance by Keith Hufnagel to boot.

If you know anything about this little corner of the interwebs, you know that we love us some rucksacks. And today, of course, is no day to start changing. Stumbled upon the Upcycled Leather Laptop Backpack over at Poketo after checking out some work by local Los Angeles artist Luke Chueh whose done some work for the company. We’ll get to Luke later, but for now, bask in the leathery goodness below…

Every component is 100% Upcycled. WTF does that mean you might wonder? I’ll tell you if you’ll give me damn second already, jeez. The body and zippers come from old leather jackets from Bruce Springstein and the handles are seat-belts that were ripped right out of unsuspecting cars (**note, not entirely true statements**).

Fits a 15″ laptop and numerous accessories for your everyday needs. I don’t need to know your hobbies to know that there’s enough room for your Magic cards. Oops, have I said too much?

Each bag is a one-of-a-kind production, so grab that extra $300 under your mattress that you were saving to buy a fish tank, and spend it wisely on something useful.

Got my finger on the trigger for one of these Herschel Supply Co. “Classic” backpacks. They’re filed in the women’s section which is clearly a mistake. I have a purple nike backpack that’s been my day to day commuter for the last couple months and that thing gets heads turning. I guess my point is this should be filed under fashionable men and women.

The lavender with the strawberry guts is insane. Like in the same way pink was in when Cam’ron was doin’ it. Since it’s not socially acceptable to carry a purse but you carry more than your pockets can handle.

I just received my Shwood wooden sunglasses in the mail the other day. Do you have any idea of how fresh you feel when your wearing Rosewood sunglasses?

So skip ahead to today and I see this company also from Portland called Recover. They make wood grain skins for all types of Apple gear. Word. I chose to exhibit the MacBook Pro skin as I am currently hacking away on one.

The only real question is how to stunt this out even more, is making it a Flavor Flav chain a lil’ much? Didn’t think so. Get some luxury in your life.
