I went out to see Mayer Hawthorne last night at the Getty’s Saturday’s Off The 405 event. My gf arranged for some folks to surprise me for my birthday that happened a couple days ago. Great times. He kilt it. Thanks to erryone who came out to celebrate another lap around the sun. Here’s the best [...] I got some last minute tickets to the Dodger vs. Padres game tonight. My first game of the season. Crushed a couple Dodger Dogs and enjoyed the crisp spring night. They got kilt 10-5 and there were about 10k people left at the end of the ninth, I love LA. Rad series. [via ffffound] Cruised out to Palm Springs this weekend. It was like having an early beginning to my summer season. We got in Saturday during happy hour at the pool. $2 beers, sold. Later that night we found out that pretty much the entire city shuts down at 10, beware travelers. I was talking to my dad about printing and typesetting not too long ago. He was telling me how they use to do typesetting back in the day. I think this is an art form many people take for granted. I did some research and found out some cool info and some rad old timey [...] Last week I submitted a photo to National Geographic’s Your Shot contest. I didn’t really think I would make the cut but thought what the hell all they can do is not choose it. I went to the site tonight to check out the weekly pics for last week and it turns out I did make [...] RISD grad Hyun Min Lee. I found her site and enjoyed her pics. These are from a series called I Am Nowhere. More on her SITE. Phil Lumbang in Echo Park. He has some stuff for sale up at his store, go support. On the way back home from downtown I stopped off to eat at the Brite Spot in Echo Park with the gf. We went down to the lake after and walked it off… |
