One of my favorite artists sits down and dishes the dirt on sampling and speaks on his impact on hip hop culture. Lord knows I’ve sampled my fair share from his catalog. As a matter of fact I’m gonna put on his album “Everybody Loves The Sunshine” right now.

I was listening through Marvin Gaye’s “Hear My Dear” album a couple days ago and stumbled upon a sample I didn’t know of. One of my favorite tracks off of Pimp C’s last album “The Naked Soul Of Sweet Jones”, is “Midnight”. Looks like he pulled some inspiration from Marvin for it.
