I was out on the westside of town tonight to catch Theodore Melfi’s new short film Roshambo. It’s a very funny tale that revolves around the oft over looked game rock, paper, scissors. After that we cruised over to Paco’s Tacos on Centinela to eat. Get some. The best part of Super Sunday was the homemade chicken and waffles. I was fading in and out of my food coma for the whole second half. I headed out to MB2 Raceway for some indoor go karting today. Insanity ensued. I did one 14 lap race and finished 2nd out of 10. If you have a free weekend I definitely recommend going and getting your shake and bake on. After the race we headed to Tere’s Mexican Grill on Melrose and had [...] Was at my local Ralph’s grocery store re-upping on Chewy Bars and I almost couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw this in the soda aisle. Throwback Mountain Dew made with real sugar. I can’t get enough Dew in my life, or Amp, so this was quite the find. Pepsi should make this product available [...] Now this is an ad. Check out Johnnie Walker’s epic 6 minute spot detailing the history of the man and brand. I guess I’ll add it to the list for the next grocery store run. Hit up Roscoe’s on Lake today. There’s something about dippin’ chicken in syrup that just feels (and tastes) right. Went dolo to my favorite restaurant for lunch today, El Compadre. You can catch me here at least once a week. One fish taco one shrimp taco a la carte please. |
