We call those people “normals” in the Empire. It goes up [...] I took this in beautiful downtown Corvallis, Oregon about a month ago on a road trip. Pretty awesome chipped paint texture. I found it as I was going through some photos tonight and remembered that I forgot to post it. So here it is, the um, W. Got my finger on the trigger for one of these Herschel Supply Co. “Classic” backpacks. They’re filed in the women’s section which is clearly a mistake. I have a purple nike backpack that’s been my day to day commuter for the last couple months and that thing gets heads turning. I guess my point is [...] If your ever looking for some creative energy check out Project Thirty-Three. They focus on art from LP covers that use simple shapes to convey their message. Pretty sweet collection they got going. This is one of the only ones I could find that I had, followed by some I thought were rad. The album covers featured [...] Cool teaser for a documentary about vinyl collecting. I am an avid collector so I always like to see what’s in other people’s vaults. So fun seeing how everyone tetris’ their collections together. Includes interviews with “Bobbito Garcia, ?uestlove, Chuck D, Andre Torres (From Wax Poetics), Amir (of Kon & Amir) and Bruce Ludvall, the owner [...] I got caught up watching the early 90′s classic “Airborne” today. What a throwback. Classic fish out of water plot. Kid from California goes and lives with his cousin in Cincinnati for 6 months. Several fights, rollerblade hockey games and high school crushes happen and then he goes home. The soundtrack is epic. I pulled this [...] Photo evidence of Simon’s surprise birthday party on Saturday night. Miami Vice theme with a photo backdrop to match. Got to rock the tables for a bit. Dug in the crates and brought out some good ol’ early 00′s hip hop and current Houston heat. Fun, PBR and cake were had by all. The crew raged [...] Just heard this song last night at a rager of a party for my friend Simon’s birthday. Mr. Kato busted this out and blew my mind. I had the oppurtunity to rock the decks for a couple hours. What a party. Trying to track down some pics. Went to see Chavez Ravine in all it’s glory tonight. Dodgers got scraight rocked 5-0 by the Padres. Rough. At least the beer and Dodger Dogs were on point. |
