Loneliest Feeling Ever

I was headed to Burbank for lunch on Sunday and my Tomos broke down on Cahuenga. A large ping sound followed by whirring, that’s normal right? I had to pedal home, good times. Lucky for me it was all downhill so I was able to coast 80% of the way. Looks like I’ll be headed [...]

Man The 50's Were Awesome, Let's Reminisce

Here’s a fun propaganda film from the Civil Defense agency back in the 50’s. It’s pretty much 9 minutes of lies cloaked in patriotism. Definitely worth a view if you got the time. Quite the eye opener.

I Got More Vinyl Than You

I’ve been listening to this Ray Charles album for the last couple nights. Reaching all the way back to 1959 with this one. Good stuff.

Pics Of The Week

RISD grad Hyun Min Lee. I found her site and enjoyed her pics. These are from a series called I Am Nowhere. More on her SITE.

Amurika

Just saw this in a comment section post on gizmodo. It just feels right to post with the Olympics going on and all.

Bass Bass Bass Bass

I waste so much time online, I’m sure you do too. I think it happens to everyone. You find a site like Code Organ and you can easily lose 20 minutes of your, no seriously I’m gonna knock this project out, time. You type in a url into the bar and hit play. A unique [...]

One Million Dollars Mr. Kent

A copy of Superman’s debut comic, Action Comics #1, sold for $1 million. Yeah you heard that right. It crushed the previous record paid for a comic book which was $317,000 for a different copy of Action Comics #1. There are only 100 copies of this first print around. I’m guessing the price will [...]

I road tripped up to Santa Barbara and got my Huell Howser on for a night over the weekend. Did some shopping, relaxing and eating. It certainly was California’s Gold.

Caitlin gettin’ her OMG on.

Standing on the edge of the pier. There’s no rail at the end, I guess Santa Barbara isn’t as sue happy as [...]

We Cold

The US is bodying nations at the Winter Olympics. I have been clocking about 6 hours of coverage every night. I can’t get enough.

I keep reading articles about people being upset that the games are tape delayed. I’m glad they are because I can actually watch everything in one sitting. The only thing I’m [...]

Beat Of The Week

I made this track earlier today. It’s the first beat I’ve made in a year. I hooked up a turntable on my desktop so I can listen to vinyl while I work away. I’ve been re-listening to a lot of jazz that I forgot I had. This song is the result of some of that [...]
