I’m back in LA now and didn’t have time to throw up my last photos while in NY. I went to Central Park my last day and got to see the leaves changing color which I don’t get here in LA ’cause palm trees don’t change color obvs. The weather the last day was super [...] I found a couple more of Phil Lumbang’s bears around town. This dude went through a rough time in the rain. Game 1 for the World Series kicks off in a little over an hour from now here in New York. I’m really excited to sit in bars around town and soak it in. Hopefully I will get some rad shots of fans going off. I found some awesome signs around also. I love the “No Standing” ones, brilliant. Like don’t even stop here, at all, for any reason, keep it movin’ people. Here’s some I thought were awesome for their message or design. I found all these Mr. Brainwash pieces around Soho today. Looks like Madonna’s peeps got out to advertise her new album that MBW did the cover for. It also appears that he has someone who is none to pleased to see his stuff around town. Someone is going around tagging on top of his stuff, [...] The weather was pretty tragic today especially for a kid from LA. We braved the elements and walked around town for a couple of hours. Here’s some random snaps I got… I always wanted to skate here when I was in high school. These are the legendary Brooklyn Banks near the Brooklyn bridge in Manhattan. I love that they let kids do their thing and set up ramps and skate instead of making it illegal and cracking down on it like they did at Love Park [...] I was surprised and happy when I found these Phil Lumbang bears around town. LA stand up. Hopefully I will find more in the next couple days to post. Keep an eye out for the Phil Lumbang x The Hundreds shirt that will be coming out as part of their Winter collection. Last year while I was here for CMJ I took some pics of bikes I found around town. They are still some of the highest hit pages on my blog so I thought why not go around and find new bangers to keep whoever is peeping those pages happy. Here we go… This last one wins [...] As soon as we got to our hotel I saw this Motobecane and Puch chained up across the street. A good sign no doubt. |
