Just read a report that the famed Sears Tower in Chicago will be renamed to get this, Willis Tower after the London based financial services company Willis Group Holdings. I hate when places sell their soul and change their name for starters but to a foreign company!? Super weak. If they ever try to rename Dodger Stadium I will officially lose my s. It’s bad enough that Anaheim thinks their LA (I know it’s a side rant but I’m just feeling it right now). Anyways chaulk it up as a loss for the Chi and Sears as they have now officially lost all the free marketing. RIP Sears Tower 1973-2009. The Willis Group sure moves fast, the wikipedia page has already been renamed, ugh.
